Those who wish to participate in the selection process must attend one of the 2024 tryouts, as well as Volusia County Beach Safety’s lifeguard recruit class (mandatory 48-hour ocean rescue training).

3/16 Ormond YMCA

3/23 Port Orange YMCA

9:00am – 1:00pm

Recruit Classes:

Class 1: 3/25 – 3/30

Class 2: 4/6-4/7, 4/13-4/14, 4/20-4/21

8:00am – 4:00pm
